![]() Custom decals designed by Meindert de Vreeze ![]() |

![]() Regularly, I design my own decals for my aircraft models as these are not available in after market sets or not in a particular scale. For example: for a 1/32 Tornado ADV, aftermarket decal sheets had no white dotted walk way lines. Over 15 years ago, I had 3 custom decal sheets printed for my Tornado F2 or F3 in 1/32 scale. Some modellers also want those decals for building their models and sometimes they send me a mail to ask about a decal sheet. Sometimes, it is possible to provide a sheet. No other prior decal preparation is needed as these are laser prints. Each cut out decal can be applied as usual after soaking it a short while in water. The printed decal sheets are VERY THIN, so conform to surfaces well. So it is crucial to slide off each individual decal from the wetted backing sheet on a horizontally held GLOSSY model surface. As usual... after all decals have been applied, finish the model with your preferred final gloss, matt or semi-matt varnish coats. This will also protect on your model all the applied decals for years to come.
![]() OBTAINING DECALS Decals are designed for 1/32 scale with high resolution, but if you need smaller scaled down decal sheets (1/48 or 1/72), this is possible on request. ![]() Decals sheet cost indications: > about 5 to 17 euro each, depending on decal sheet size. + add international untracked postage + PayPal payment costs about 5 tot 6 euro per shipment. ![]() Interested in a (few) designed decal sheet for personal use on your model? Send me an email: ![]() Please clearly indicate in your mail: - which # decal sheet you need and how many? - what scale? - your postal address I will mail you the costs. Important: as modelling enthusiast, I combine requests to save costs for everyone as decals are printed "on demand by a third party", so please allow some delivery time. Meindert
